Kamal Refinery Limited is a prominent member of Kamal Group Tanzania.
We use the Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE), a short path distillation process ideal for re-refining Used/Waste Lube Oil to Base Oils with zero environmental waste. The WFE is suited for processing heat-sensitive and viscous materials, carrying out deodorization, distillation, concentration, re-boiling, solvent recovery, and stripping, preparing re-refined oil for lube oil blending.

Industrial lubricants
The re-refining process includes:
Pretreatment: Preheating, dehydration to remove water, gasoline, light contaminants, and heavy contaminants.
Gasoil Removal: Separating gasoil from the base oil for flash point specification and recovering a valuable gasoil fraction.
Vacuum Distillation and Fractionation by Thin Film Evaporator: Separating lube oil products from contaminants using high vacuum distillation and thin film technology.
Filtration: Improving base oil quality by enhancing color and odor, producing high-quality regenerated base oil.
